March 16, 2021- A Phoenix man, Gilbert Gonzales, is dead after allegedly killing his uncle, grandparents, and another man, as well as injuring a fifth person at a home Tuesday in west Phoenix. According to the Phoenix Police Department, officers responded a the home near 65th Avenue and Camelback Road around 6:45 p.m. They found the five people with gunshot wounds. Police learned that Gilbert Gonzalez had been drinking and making suicidal comments. Three of Gonzalez’s victims have been identified as grandmother Delia Noriega, age 66, grandfather Isaias Tovar Sr., age 62, and uncle Isaias Tovar Jr., age 31. The other family member identified only as a 19-year-old male, is expected to survive. At some point, one of the victims returned fire, killing the 26 year-old Gonzalez.
