Quoted from original police record: Man shot to death: Tesmer, Richard C. - Age 46 - Shot to death in the rear of his house, 5835 Winthrop Ave., while going to the assistance of his wife who was being robbed by a man and woman. On 6/19/23 Fred Thompson, alias Mrs. Frances Carrick who had worn women's clothes for many years, was arrested and identified by Mrs. Tesmer as the "woman" who shot her husband and on 6/27/23, was held by the Coroner. 33 Dist. Frank Conick was arrested 6/23/23 and on 6/24/23 was discharged ona writ of habeas corpus by Judge David. 10/3/23 - Thompson acquitted - Caverly.
