I had lived in this house for over 15 years. Growing up, I use to play with an imaginary girl named Sally. My mother use to hear a little girl calling for "Mommy", and all her children were sleeping. My sister and cousin use to hear a little girl picking something outside the larger upstairs bedroom window every spring. She would say, "This one for me, this one for mommy". My parents sold the home. I dated a guy who was friends of the current owners. We went to the home, and the women asked me if the house was haunted. She told me, one night her youngest was crying, and an older daughter was freaked out, because a little girl appeared to her, and said "Don't worry mommy, I will take care of her." . This little girl is not a threat, and has not made her appearance known in any other way. No doors opening, no knocking, nothing like that. Just what is described above.

I apologize in advance, but I believe you have the wrong end date. My family moved into that house back in 2001, and left in 2012/13. But other than that, reading this sends chills down my back, as my sister had gone through the same thing. Well my older sister did, and my younger sister used to play with a girl named “Enna”. But my older sister was babysitting my younger brother, who was born in 2004. We had been living in that house for several years and this was the second time a little girl was seen, the first time being my cousin when we first moved in the property in 2001. But when my sister saw her, it is to, the period, EXACTLY what happened with the younger sibling and the older daughter. She was babysitting my younger brother, her boyfriend was sleeping upstairs, she had taken a nap on the couch, and my brother starts crying. My sister wakes up to a little girl trying to comfort him, stating “Don’t worry mommy, I’ll take care of him”. Those were the only appearances of her. There were also times that we would smell wet dog, and we never owned a dog (Our mother wouldn’t allow it haha) Other than that, our front door swung wide open one day, all though it was shut right, and locked. One time one of our cats had gotten into this little room of the side of the hallway across from the bathroom. We never opened this door, let alone one of our cats in there, to shut the door and lock it up again! That door was also open randomly one day, again with no one knowing how it opened. After doing research, and learning that my father had spoken to the lady who lived across the street, the house was built back in 1910. It was one of the first residential lots founded in Hannibal. But before that, it was an orchard. An apple and pear orchard, possibly with other fruits, veggies and berries, but definitely apples/pears/berries, as there were apple/pear trees all throughout the woods and berry bushes on the perimeter of the residence. In 1907, one of its many barns had burned down, unfortunately killing many animals. But I couldn’t find anything about the death of a little girl. But who knows. Maybe the family didn’t want any more attention than they had already gotten, losing their orchard m, animals, and possibly daughter too. It’s a sad, tragic story that needs to be researched even more.
