On September 23, 2007, Rochelle MANGUINAO (A.K.A – Ziggy PECSON) had attended the Plush Lounge at 100 - 205 9 Avenue SE for a birthday party. At approximately 2:05 hours, MANGUINAO was taken outside by a group of males and an argument ensued. During the argument, MANGUINAO was attacked by the unknown suspects and was fatally stabbed by one of the attackers. Ziggy was a local DJ. The Plush Lounge has since been closed.

Police say a man struck Black Kettle in an “unprovoked attack” at a downtown park and left him unconscious.
