Robert M. Taylor, 45, 485 Plainfield St., No. 204, Providence, was ordered held without bail during his arraignment on domestic murder charges in Fourth Division District Court Wednesday. Narragansett Police allege he murdered his mother, Allison Taylor, 65, of 130 Caswell St., Narragansett. Taylor appeared in court still wearing his blue hospital scrubs from his overnight stay in the psychiatric unit at Rhode Island Hospital, where he was arraigned before a justice of the peace. He also had bandages on both his wrists. Unable to afford an attorney, the court will provide him a public defender. Wednesday morning, Police Chief F. Dean Hoxsie confirmed Taylor had been arrested, and that human remains had been found in a Dumpster on Caswell Street.
