The area this street was in was a small strip of street that begins as Pecos Rd between Sahara ave where it intersects with Boulder Hwy and Charleston Blvd. it was a small stretch where Pecos became Palm St at the Sahara light for less than 1/4 mile and then Became Pecos again at Charleston. In the early years of Vegas it was called Palm area in the later years everyone called it Toon Town. There were surrounding streets like May, June, Pearl, Cedar, Center, and Olive hill. That whole neighborhood and everyone it was truly sucked into a negative world and most never came out. The house actually burned to the ground before they demolished it. And there was a Dr office there on that street. I don’t remember the name of Dr but I bet it is same. And my parents purchased the house from the children of Mr Barrett after he passed and they are the ones that passed the history down to us.They wanted nothing to do with it. I'm sorry for what you went through. It can have a lasting effect on you. Looking at Google Maps, in some shots you can see the house that was next to it boarded up and then when you click a little more across the street, you see it was demolished. Does the neighborhood have a name?

I lived it . It was my family home through the years.
