47-year-old Mark Allen Lunn shot and killed by police on March 21, 2018, after he armed himself with a knife and disobeyed commands to drop the weapon. A woman called police to report a suspicious man who came to her house, 101 Greenbrier Circle, to talk about buying a vehicle she owned. The woman reported that the man made her uncomfortable so she called 911. Police encountered Lunn outside the house and Lunn started disobeying police commands, before pulling a large knife from his pocket and making a move towards officers, prompting officers to shoot and kill Lunn. The shooting was ruled justified.
