A man and woman were found dead inside a home Tuesday in the 900 block of South Richmond Avenue in what may have been a double suicide, police said. The couple appeared to have died from self-inflicted wounds after police said they found evidence indicating suicide from both parties, Cpl. Kurt Gardner said. The bodies were found in a bedroom, with a handgun nearby. Gardner did not say yet who appeared to have been behind the gun. The couple's identity has not been released, but Gardner said they appeared to be in their 50s or 60s. A note, which Gardner said appeared to be handwritten, was found on the mailbox, asking the mail carrier to call police. (Note: The home does not look the same as it was before. The exterior of the house was completely and fully renovated after the suicides.)
