Grandfather Murders Wife and Granddaughter: On March 21, 2014 Ronald Gregory, 67, first shot his bedridden wife, Barbara, 71, then his 9-year-old Granddaughter, Mia. The gunshot to his granddaughter was not immediately fatal, but rather than calling for help, he held her in his arms until she bled to death. Later that day, he called 911 requesting that police come to his house before shooting himself twice in the chest. Gregory survived and was convicted of the double murder.
