Murder-suicide. Christopher Carrillo murders his family before taking his own life. His four victims were identified as his parents, Raúl Carrillo, 58, and Karen Saari, 53; his brother, Erick Carrillo, 32; and his niece, Isela Rodriguez, 17, who was Raul and Karen’s granddaughter. Christopher Carrillo, who family members said had a history of mental illness, fatally shot his brother and parents in their bedrooms and his 17-year-old niece in the hallway of the southside home. When police entered the home, they found Carrillo dead on the couch, with a 9mm handgun in his lap.
