On April 19th, 2007, 29 year old Joshua Jeffries was shot inside his residence at 7719 E. 31st street. The victim ran from his residence and collapsed in the parking lot of a nearby Cracker Barrel. Witnesses told Tulsa Police of hearing several gunshots and then Jeffries ran out of the house and into the street. Those witnesses also told police, two suspects then ran from the house and drove off in a white SUV. Joshua Jeffries was taken to the hospital where he died of his wounds. The case is unsolved.
