On February 16, 2000, 18-year-old Nathan Bonds was shot in the head with a shotgun and killed while working in his garage behind his home at 6508 N Johnstown. The shooting allegedly occurred after a dispute between Bonds and unknown person(s). Although two people were arrested in his death, they were both acquitted of the murder charges and it is unknown if his case is closed or not.
