I can verify this is accurate. I was living in a house across the street when this occured. My mom still owns the home and lives there. The house is condemned by the city and will remain uninhabitable as long as it stands. Converse is a very small town on the outskirts of San Antonio, the homes in this neighborhood were built in the 70's. It was just an ordinary neighborhood. Nobody had any idea that this man had a meth lab in his garage until we heard and felt a huge explosion, which is what promped the Converse PD to investigate. The home was swarmed with law enforcement, DEA, & Hazmat for days, they must have carried out a hundred brown paper bags of evidence. Last I heard, the man responsible was still in prison and although the house can't be lived in ever again, the father of this guy was still responsible for the upkeep of the yard.
