This is the home in which infamous serial killer, Ed Kemper, AKA “The Co-ed Killer,” lived. The remains of Clarnell Strandberg (Kemper's mother) and Sally Hallett were found here, and the remains of some of his victims were dismembered here. Between May 1972 and February 1973, Kemper would pick up female student hitchhikers. He would murder and decapitate them, taking the corpses to a rural location or his home where he'd perform sexual acts on them. On Good Friday, 1973, Kemper murdered his own mother, and her best friend. He then drove to Pueblo, Colorado, where he called local police and confessed. Since then, Kemper has been incarcerated in the California Medical Facility.
