Jean Muir, 79, was beaten and stabbed to death with scissors during a burglary of her home. She had last spoken with her sister at 12:30 pm via the phone, but was found dead at 1 pm when her sister dropped by the house to pick Muir up for a trip. The case remains unsolved.
