Harley Dilly, 14, disappeared at 6am on his way to school. Two days later, his parents reported him missing. Dilly had a history of problems at home and anger issues, resulting in officers initially suspecting him of running away. However, a prolonged disappearance prompted massive search efforts. Three weeks later, Dilly's body was found by officers in a vacant vacation house across the street from his home. It appeared that Dilly had climbed onto the roof of the vacation house and entered through the chimney, where he had become stuck. An autopsy reported that his death was accidental and from compressive asphyxia. The owners of the home have stated that they will demolish the chimney.
