reported events that occurred at 5035 Antler Pass on March 13th, 1996

On Wednesday March 13, 1996, Stanley Lindsey, 43, his wife, Pennye Lindsey, 42, and their son, Sheldon Lindsey, 18, died in what officers have ruled was a double murder and suicide. Pennye Lindsey and Sheldon Lindsey died of gunshots in their home, inflicted by Stanley Lindsey. After driving his pickup truck a short distance from the home, Stanley Lindsey died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound that consequently caused the vehicle to crash into a tree. The investigation was briefly delayed after a tow truck driver, discovering the wreckage, inexplicably removed the firearm from the vehicle cabin. He was later prosecuted for crime scene tampering.
