Meredith Katharine Borowiec received a three-year sentence for one count of infanticide and an 18-month sentence for a second count of infanticide after she dumped two babies in a trash bin near her townhouse shortly after secretly giving birth inside the home in 2008 and 2009. Their bodies were never found. However, a judge gave Borowiec a suspended sentence with three years probation for aggravated assault on a third newborn in 2010, a baby boy who was found alive in a trash bin near the woman’s northwest apartment. While she was in custody, she gave birth to a fourth child, who was seized.
