Toronto's 29th murder of 1982. Lorne Honickman, CityPulse Tonight, August 19, 1982 - "The 60 year-old man, whose name as yet has not been released, was found at the bottom of the stairs early this morning, here at 45 GRANBY STREET. He had suffered fatal head injuries. Police say the lady who owns the home, allows men, who, have no other place to live, reside here. There were eight men living here at the time of the murder. The neighbors I spoke to, tell me that 45 GRANBY is the haven for Toronto's down-and-outers. It's been the scene of a lot of parties and drunken fights."
