Quoted from original police record: Man stabbed to death: Sherman, Cora, alias Senicker - Age 45 - Colored - Found dead at 6:25 AM, 3/13/30, from a stab wound in the back, lying under the rear porch of 3639 Dearborn St. Evidence pointed to the fact that she had been dragged there thru the yard from the alley and that the murder was committed by her common-law husband, Hugh Senicker, because she was chasing around with other men. On 3/14/30 Senicker was held by the Coroner. 4 Dist. March 1930 No Bill.
