Quoted from original police record: Man shot to death: Roberts, Burt G., 30 years old, shot dead at 8:00 A.M. in rooming house 335 Indiana St., by William J. Walker, a bell boy, in a quarrel over a woman. Walker was arrested, 38th Prect. Held by Coroner's Jury March 29, 1906. Acquitted by jury in Judge Dupuy's court, June 21, 1906. Self defense.
