Housekeeper and boy killed in stabbing at home. Shirlee Sherman, 57, and Thomas Hunter, 11, were found stabbed on March 13 inside 303 N. 54th St., where Thomas lived and Sherman worked as a housekeeper. Prior to the homicide, neighbors saw a man entering the home carrying a briefcase. The killer was identified as Dr. Anthony J. Garcia. Police said Garcia, a resident at Creighton University, was terminated from the pathology department in 2001 by Drs. Brumback and Hunter for erratic behavior. Dr Hunter was Thomas Hunters father. The killer was also tied to 2 other murders of Dr Brumback and his wife Mary.

Omg I remember this case. How absolutely horrific for the housekeeper’s family and the little boys father. Garcia got exactly what he deserved. He was a psychopath.
