Jennifer Teague, an 18 year old girl walking home from a late night gathering outside a local convenience store, was abducted and brought to this location, home of 24 year old Kevin Davis. She was stripped naked before being strangled to death by Davis, all while his mother slept peacefully in the next room. Her body was then dumped near a trail a couple kilometers away. This case would scare the Barrhaven community for months, being convinced a serial killer was on the loose. Davis was later convicted of life in prison after confessing to an off-duty police officer that he, in fact, was the murderer.
