Hanad Abdullahi, 16, was found dead in one of the stairwells at 30 Falstaff Ave. around 1 a.m. after police received reports of gunfire. Three males were seen fleeing the scene in a dark-coloured Honda.
Over 300 cats were found in Apartment 1811. “Surprisingly, most of the cats were healthy,” Birch Dan Animal Hospital employee Karley Lux told CTV News producer Adam Ward. “There are no fleas or infection, which is surprising.”
Aeon Grant, 19, was found shot in the head on the 15th floor. The victim was transported to hospital, where he died shortly after arrival. Three other people were also discovered at or near this scene, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Convicted of the murder, Patrick served six and a half years in prison, but was released in 2005 by order of the Ontario Court of Appeal and acquitted at a second trial in 2007.
