Aeon Grant, 19, was found shot in the head on the 15th floor. The victim was transported to hospital, where he died shortly after arrival. Three other people were also discovered at or near this scene, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Warren Anthony Blackstock, who was responsible for the murder of Dwight Anthony Kelly at this building in 1991, was released from prison by June 1999. One night Blackstock pistol-whipped a man named Craig Patrick. The next day someone shot Blackstock in the parking lot, paralyzing him below the waist, and killed his three-year-old daughter Breanna Davy. Convicted of the murder, Patrick served six and a half years in prison, but was released in 2005 by order of the Ontario Court of Appeal and acquitted at a second trial in 2007.

Fifth shooting in a year at housing complex may be drug-related: Dwight Anthony Kelly, 28, was shot dead around 10:30 p.m. in what police say is a drug-related killing. By the time police and ambulance crews arrived, he was sprawled in a pool of blood on a sidewalk. - Toronto Star (Jul 19, 1991) Warren Anthony Blackstock and Renford Farrier, who were also residents of the same building, were convicted of the killing in 1993.
