What Happened at 30 Carlyle Crescent?

  • 2008-2009

So I grew up in one of the houses near this one and it was a rental property. Somebody rented upstairs and somebody else rented the basement for as long as I can remember. I’ve hung out with most of the kids that haved lived there but around 2008 or 2009 there was a suspected drug dealer renting one of the units. My dad talked to the police a few times and we wrote down pages of license plate numbers from cars that would either park down the street and walk to the house or park infront of it and walk around back. The police would even stake out the street a few times and would arrest multiple people leaving the house. Some were apparently really notorious in the police system I remember a cop saying. One morning my mother was leaving for work and there was a cracked out lady in the street and she stumbled over and asked my mother for money or something, ended up dropping her pipe on our driveway which the police confiscated later. Then one night the swat got called and raided the house, the guy renting said he sold cds (hence the high amount of brief traffic there) and did children’s entertainment. Shortly after that he moved out lol
