Two men savagely murdered 46-year-old Christina Lynne Wollesen-Felton and her longtime friend, 45-year-old Kevin Richard Meisinger, in a home in the Torreon subdivision in Show Low. Aleksys Lomeli-Garcia, (who was 19 years old at the time of the murders) is serving two life sentences on two counts of first degree murder. He also admitted guilt to burglary and theft in the case. He is currently incarcerated at the Arizona State Prison in Safford, inmate number 273617. He was sentenced in a Navajo County Superior courtroom in July of 2012. The second man, still technically only a suspect in the murders, is Jose Eduardo Alvarez-Gamez, (who was 23 years old at the time). He has never been to court in the case. The night of the murders he eluded police and escaped to Mexico. He was arrested by police in Mexico on robbery charges in January of 2014. He is currently in prison in Mexico. He is expected to be released in 2020, according to Sgt. Justin Hart with Show Low police. Hart, has been working since 2012 with the Department of Justice, Office of International Affairs, to have Alvarez-Gamez extradited from Mexico to stand trial here.
