Quoted from original police record: Triple shooting: Wakefield, Walter - Age 29 - Deceased, Frank Debra, his partner in soft-drink parlor, and Joseph Special, the bartender, all alleged to the members of the Capone gang, were shot to death at 4AM, 4/20/30, in their place at 2900 So. Wells St., , by a lone man who escaped. The next day a squad from the States Attorneys Office lay in wait for eight hours in a flat at 3011 N. Halsted St. and captured one Frank Delbano, alias Dale, an ex-convict, whose gun was identified thru ballistics as the weapon used. On 4/24/30 Delbano was held by the Coroner on three charges. 3 Dist.
