60-year-old Jimmie Fuller was shot multiple times and killed in the doorway of his home at 2140 E Newton Pl on September 23, 2021 around 11PM. It is suspected that Fuller opened the door and was shot and killed by unknown assailants. As of June 2022 there has still not been a suspect named in the case, and the case remains unsolved.
