On Sept. 27, at 11 p.m., Fairfax County police responded to a suspicious event at a house at 2108 Carrhill Road in the Vienna area. A woman who lives at the house reported a strong odor of cleaning agents. It was later discovered that Dail Brown Sr. 64 had been murdered by his son Dail Brown Jr. 35, via gunshot. The body was located in the trunk of a family car. Authorities searched the house and seized 133 items, including: a 9mm Glock pistol; boxes of 9mm, .45- and .32-caliber ammunition; a balaclava hood; a sawn-off shotgun; a Chinese-made 7.62mm rifle; and several knifes, a hacksaw, cleaning supplies, towels, boots, gloves, along with a white Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera.
