Denise Perdue and Laurel Sanchez were found shot to death inside their Deep Creek house on March 23, 2015. Perdue, 57, was shot in the back, and Sanchez, 62, was struck in the head. One of the women received a threatening text message before she was killed that read, "You both will be dead within a week." No one has been arrested, and police have not released any information about a possible motive. The number was disconnected or no longer in service when a reporter tried to call. The murders still remain unsolved to this day.
