On June 2, 2017, 27-year-old Leland Foster was shot and killed while attempting to drown his 2 infant children. Foster was reportedly threatening his wife with a knife and also trying to drown his 3-month-old twins, a boy and a girl, in a bathtub. A 12-year-old girl in the home ran out and went to the neighbors house for help. The neighbor, Cash Freeman, armed himself with a gun and went inside Foster's home , where he saw Foster trying to drown the 2 kids. He shot Foster twice in the back, killing him. Freeman was not charged in the shooting.
