Tonya Hunter-Lyons was raped and stabbed to death by her abusive husband Maurice Lyons in the garage of this home, in front of her 4 year old son. He then dumped her son on a street corner. Tonya was a social worker who counseled families. Maurice was a felon and had failed to have the electronic monitor placed on his ankle to prevent him from coming near his soon to be ex-wife.
