This is the home I grew up in. It is the gate house to Rosedale Cemetery. So of course already, easy to guess there is paranormal occurrences there. First occurrence I was upstairs and was getting ready for a shower I saw my sister walk into her room, or so I thought. So I walk over and all I see is a dark figure standing in her room. Creeped out but maybe it was someone. So I flip the light on and no one was there. Second occurrence was I woke up before most of my family minus my dad because he had to go to the crematory. But I was the only one up in the house since he had already left. I was on the computer and out of the corner of my eye I see someone laying in the chair. I thought it was my brother because he usually will hang there and sometimes fall asleep so I say to him to go upstairs and I flip the light on. Again. No one is there. Several times I saw what was a dark figure poke its head from where the stairs are and look into the room then disappear. My sister wanted to switch bedrooms with me because she kept seeing a light in her closet. The closet was small and didn’t have a light inside so there’s no reason there should be a light. So I switched with her and a few weeks later in the middle of the night I woke up for no reason and heard something whisper in my ear. I had no idea what it was. Years later now that I have heard different languages I realize whoever it was was speaking in Latin. Rooms would randomly get super cold. And we had no central air and it would happen in the hottest summer days. Finally got the courage to talk to my dad about it and he said “oh yeah there’s a ghost in this house.” Apparently he has seen it, and my older siblings when they were growing up (were 20 years age difference with the first set of kids) would talk about a dark figure that they would see. My dad also told me that when he was growing up (his dad worked there and he lived in another home there) he had seen multiple paranormal things. From little kid ghosts, to hearing weird things, different feelings all through out the cemetery. We moved out 10 years ago. Before moving out my mother passed away in the home. No odd circumstances, she had cancer and passed away natural causes. But maybe she is there still with that black figure. My parents friend also hit his head while at their house and had an brain aneurysm and died a few hours later.
