multiple stab wounds leads to death: During the 1970’s, Alexander Romeo LeBlanc was a well known member of Toronto's gay community. He lived at 16 St. Joseph Street in downtown Toronto. Mr. LeBlanc was commonly known as "Sandy" and was the manager of a dance club. During the late afternoon of Wednesday, September 20th, 1978, friends of Mr. LeBlanc had difficulty contacting him. Shortly after 7:00 p.m., they went over to his apartment, forced their way in and discovered his lifeless body inside.
