reported events that occurred at 1532 North Atlanta Avenue on April 3rd, 2006

On April 3rd, 2006, police were called to a residence after a woman found her parents-in-law Walter Brown, 67, and Grace Brown, 63, bound and beaten to death in the 1500 block of N Atlanta Avenue about 6:45 p.m. Grace Brown was supposed to meet her daughter-in-law for their weekly bingo game that day, but she never showed up. Her daughter-in-law went to the retired couples house to check on them, and found their cars still in their driveway. She found that the backdoor was open, and that is when she found the bodies. News on 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright says Walter and Grace Brown were kind people, willing to help anyone. That's why it's especially hard for their family to understand how they could've been so brutally murdered in what looks like a robbery. The case still remains unsolved.
