18yr old beaten to death on Christmas eve by boyfriend. Latisha Hayes (18) was found beaten and strangled to death by another housemate at her boyfriends home who alerted police. Her boyfriend Craig Owens (38) had killed her the previous night. He has been charged with second degree murder and first degree manslaughter. The murder charge accuses Hayes of intentionally killing Hayes by beating her in the head and strangling her.
