Quoted from original police record: Man shot to death: Bigelow, William H. - Age 53 - Fatally shot 5:55 P.M., 10/3/25, at 1422 E. Marquette Rd., apartment of Robt. S. Murphy, to whom he went to protest against the latter's unwelcome attentions to Mrs. Bigelow. On 11/24/25 Murphy was held by the Coroner. 5th Dist. 4/27/26 - Acquitted - Miller.
