Police said a fight over a boyfriend sparked the deadly stabbing that killed a Tulsa middle school girl Saturday night. The victim, 13-year-old Sydney Dailey, died at a Tulsa hospital. Dailey was outside on the front porch of her family's home on March 15, 2008 with two other girls from her school. She'd had an ongoing dispute over a boy with one of the girls, Montoya Harris, who was 14 at the time, for about a month. Both girls went to Madison Middle School. The last time the girls were seen was by the parents of Dailey as they left to go to the store. When they returned, paramedics were attending to Dailey on the porch. She had been stabbed nine times, twice in the heart. She went into cardiac arrest and died at St. John Medical Center about an hour after the attack. Harris and the third girl fled from the scene. Harris was arrested and charged as an adult. The third girl was not charged.
