reported events that occurred at 1190 Rue Guy in 2010

In 2010 I lived on the top floor of the Grey Nuns building on the side that was used by Concordia University as a students residence. At the time, the other half of the building was still occupied by nuns. Many strange things happened while I was living there, and I am not the only one who spoke about hearing things or seeing things move on their own. I frequently heard disembodied voices talking, whispers coming from empty closets, and foot steps coming down the halls when no one was there. Several of us also witnessed cabinet doors opening and closing on their own in the common rooms. Some of the rooms in the basement level just felt wrong and made some people very uncomfortable to be in. I had never experienced sleep paralysis before I moved into that building, and I had it at least 3 times a week the entire time I was there. I sometimes heard crying from children at night, and while there was a daycare that operated out of the main level on the nun's side, none of the kids stayed over night and definitely shouldn't have been crying like newborns in the upper hallways in the middle of the night. The building has a history of deaths, and sheltered wounded soldiers and ran an orphanage in 1918. That year a fire broke out on the top floor and killed at least 53, many of which were children and babies.
