Quoted from original police record: Man shot to death: Magnabosco, Marco - Age 38 - Shot to death at 8:03 AM, 12/11/30, in his home, 2nd fl., 11354 Langley Ave., by two men who escaped, after throwing down their guns. Deceased had been a government witness against several extortionists. On 12/12/30 the Coroner recommended the arrest of the murderers. Earlier in the morning of 12/12 two brothers, Sam and Rudolph Marino, were found shot to death (ride) in a lonely road at 91st St. and California Ave., Evergreen Park, Ill. Rudolph was positively identified and Sam partly so as the slayers of Magnabosco by the latters 9 yr. old daughter.
