reported events that occurred at 1120 Garnet Street on April 16th, 2015

Reno Lee, 34, shot to death and dismembered in the basement. His body was found in a hockey bag in a rural area northeast of Regina in April 2015 on the Star Blanket First Nation. Bronson Gordon, Andrew Bellegarde and Daniel Theodore were charged with first degree murder and committing an indignity to a body, to which they plead not guilty. A witness said there were pools of blood on the basement floor, and blood was splattered on the walls. It is believed that the killing was drug fueled, and that Lee owed a large debt. All three men were convicted in 2018, but appealed in 2020.
