    Frank Dwayne Blomme, 55, was found suffering from a gunshot wound and later died inside this northeast Calgary apartment building .Police were called to Valley Side Apartments at 322 1 Avenue N.E. at about 12:40 a.m. Sunday, August 7th 2016, for a check on welfare and have ruled his death a homicide. This case remains unsolved.

    Derek Puffer fatally stabbed his stepfather, sportscaster Billy Powers, and his adoptive mother, Donna Lee Powers, at their Braeside home on July 4, 2013.     On December 20th, 1975, William James Riddle broke into the home of 40 year old Ina Violet Crookes and smothered her to death while she slept. Crookes' two daughters, Ellen and Susan were at home at the time and saw Riddle during and after the attack, both testifying against him in court. Clothing from the murder victim was also found in the engine compartment of an old truck on Riddles' property. He was found guilty of first degree murder in 1977 and received life in prison.

    Calgary man who killed wife and entombed her in cement sentenced to 7 years in prison With the time he's already spent in custody, he has about two years and 10 months left to serve. He had argued he acted in self-defence when he killed his common-law wife, Lisa Mitchell, in 2012. Lisa Mitchell's body was found by police two years after she disappeared inside a plastic bin that had been covered by cement in a corner of the couple's basement. Mitchell was last seen in Calgary in October 2012.

What is Housecreep?

Housecreep is the top real estate website for finding stigmatized properties (i.e. murder houses, reportedly haunted houses, former drug labs etc.) and otherwise noteworthy homes. Easily lookup listings near you where murders and other crimes have occurred, where paranormal activity has been reported and much more.

Housecreep was launched in 2013 by two brothers from Canada. Our aim is to encourage disclosure in the real estate industry, and to help home buyers and renters make informed decisions.

Robert Bernard Armieri is a short filmmaker, musician, and multimedia developer. He loves The Twilight Zone, oldies music, and can be found haunting the website after dark. He makes indie rock music under the alias Orlon Gunner.

Albert Armieri has worked in research and quantitative analysis for over 10 years. He loves blues guitar, campy horror movies, and can be found tweeting on our official twitter account scanning the shortwave radio band for extraterrestrial broadcasts.
